Hello, lovely stitchers. I hope this finds you all well and enjoying the summer. It’s been beautiful here but hard to believe that we are in July already. My how time flies, especially the older I get.
I have finished a Christmas piece since I posted last. I absolutely LOVE it. I don’t have it framed yet, but the plan is to frame it in an off-white frame with a Christmas red mat.
So, my friends, what are you working on? I’m about 3/4 of the way finished with another holiday stitch that is about the same size as the one I just finished. I kind of like this size for summer since it doesn’t take a huge commitment during this lovely summer weather. Here it is:
My next stitch (I’m always looking ahead and thinking of my next project 🙂 ) is going to be a nautical themed piece. I don’t think I have posted any freebie nautical charts for you all. I’ll have to see what I can find for you for my next post.
For this post, I’ve found for you a sweet 4th of July stitch. Isn’t it adorable? You can find the star button at just about any JoAnn Fabric shop. This is stitched on linen fabric and could be finished as a pinkeep, an orney to throw in a cute bowl, or even add it to a summer wreath. Let your imagination go! The pattern is from Glory Bee.
I have been unloading many of my prized ‘stash’ of counted cross stitch charts via eBay. Most are primitive in style and ALL are wonderful (or I wouldn’t have bought them in the first place, right?) Many I have already stitched while some are ones that I know I won’t be able to stitch. (not enough time). If you want to take a peek at what I have listed on eBay, check it out. My seller name is ‘canonqueen’. Hope you find something you like.
Until next time, be kind to each other.
